Activities The 2030 Agenda was adopted unanimously by the United Nations in 2015, as “a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet” [1]. The agenda has three intertwined dimensions – economic prosperity, social justice, and environmental protection [2]. It is composed of 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) that collectively “are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.” [3]. Each of the 17 sustainable development goals has targets (for a total of 169 targets), each of which is measured by indicators.
