this activity asks you to describe a character from the story "I can dance" using the past tense. Since I don't have the story, I'll give you an example of how you might describe a character. You will need to choose a character from your story and fill in the blanks with details about them.

Activity 4: Describe a character

1. Describe the character in the past tense.

   • Example using "He/She was wearing": "She was wearing a bright red dress and shiny black shoes. She also had a small, sparkly crown on her head."
   • Example using "He/She liked/did not like": "He liked to sing loudly and dance with his friends. He did not like to sit still for long."

2. Ask your partner to guess who it is.

   • After you describe the character, you would ask your partner: "Who do you think it is?"
