Help me to write a speech. You are a head prefect, the school has a problem of littering. Write a speech you will give at assembly to persuade the school students not to litter or to keep the school clean. Points to include: Effects of litter, Pride in school, What can be done to solve the problem.

Good morning, everyone. As your Head Prefect, I stand before you today to talk about something vital to our school community: keeping our environment clean. We've noticed an increase in litter around our campus, and it's a problem we must address together.

The effects of litter are clear. It makes our beautiful school look untidy and neglected, creating an unpleasant atmosphere for everyone. More seriously, litter can attract pests and even pose health hazards. It also reflects poorly on us as a student body.

This brings me to pride in our school. Our school is more than just buildings; it's a place where we learn, grow, and build friendships. A clean, well-maintained environment shows that we respect our school, our teachers, and each other. It fosters a sense of belonging and makes our learning experience much more enjoyable. Let's show our pride by taking care of our surroundings.

So, what can be done to solve the problem? The solution is simple and lies with each one of us.

1. Use the bins: Always dispose of your waste in the designated bins. If a bin is full, find another one or hold onto your litter until you can dispose of it properly.
2. Take responsibility: If you see a piece of litter, pick it up. It's a small act that makes a big difference.
3. Encourage others: Remind your friends and classmates to do their part. A collective effort will transform our school.

Let's work together to ensure our school remains a clean, welcoming, and inspiring place for everyone. Thank you.
