Here is a possible continuation of the story:

It was a beautiful summer day, and the whole family was excited to visit the local fair. Mum and Dad took Meg and Tom to the bustling grounds, filled with colourful stalls and the sounds of laughter. Tom immediately wanted to go on the dodgem cars, while Meg was keen on the spooky ghost train. After enjoying a few rides, they decided it was time for the main attraction: the big wheel.

"Let's get some tickets!" said Dad, and soon they were queuing up. When it was their turn, Meg and Tom climbed into a gondola, their hearts thumping with anticipation. The wheel began to turn, carrying them higher and higher into the sky. Meg held onto Tom's hand tightly as they slowly reached the top. From there, they could see for miles across the fairground and the surrounding countryside.

Suddenly, something strange happened. With a jolt, the big wheel stopped. They were stuck right at the very top! Meg and Tom looked at each other, their faces pale. They were both very frightened.
