A example of environmetalist richard reakey

Richard Leakey was a renowned Kenyan paleoanthropologist, conservationist, and politician. He is well-known for his significant contributions to human origins research and, crucially, for his passionate advocacy for wildlife conservation, particularly against elephant poaching in Kenya. He led the Kenya Wildlife Service multiple times and famously orchestrated the burning of 12 tons of confiscated ivory in 1989 to draw global attention to the illegal ivory trade and the plight of elephants.
