3.2. Briefly discuss the impact of floods on the following:

• Family Floods can cause displacement, forcing families to leave their homes and seek temporary shelter, leading to emotional distress and disruption of daily life. They also result in loss of property, including homes, belongings, and livelihoods, which can lead to significant financial hardship and long-term recovery challenges for families.

• Community Floods severely damage infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, and communication networks, isolating communities and hindering emergency services and aid delivery. They also disrupt essential services like water and electricity supply, leading to health risks due to contaminated water and lack of sanitation, impacting the overall well-being of the community.
