Effects of colonialism in Government

Imposition of Foreign Governance Systems: Colonial powers replaced indigenous political systems with their own administrative structures. This often involved establishing a centralized bureaucracy headed by colonial officials, with little to no representation for the local population.

Redrawing of Borders: Colonial powers arbitrarily drew boundaries for administrative convenience, often disregarding existing ethnic, tribal, or cultural affiliations. This created artificial states that have been a source of internal conflict and instability post-independence.
