Explain fully 1samuel chapter 1v1--20

1 Samuel 1:1-20 introduces Elkanah and his two wives, Hannah and Peninnah. Hannah was barren and deeply distressed by Peninnah's taunts and her inability to have children. During their annual pilgrimage to Shiloh, Hannah fervently prayed to God, vowing that if she were granted a son, she would dedicate him to the Lord's service for life. Eli the priest initially misunderstood her silent prayer but then blessed her. God remembered Hannah, and she conceived and gave birth to a son, whom she named Samuel, fulfilling her vow and marking the beginning of a new era.
