The story of Adam and Eve's temptation is found in Genesis 3. Satan, disguised as a serpent, approached Eve in the Garden of Eden. Eve clarified that they could eat from any tree except the tree in the middle of the garden, from which God had commanded them not to eat or touch, or they would die.
