How was the world created

In Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam), the world was created by a single, all-powerful God. Genesis in the Bible describes God creating the heavens, earth, plants, animals, and humans in six days, resting on the seventh.

Hinduism has a cyclical view of creation, destruction, and rebirth. Brahma is often credited as the creator god, emerging from a lotus flower that grew from the navel of Vishnu.

Greek mythology describes the world emerging from a primordial void called Chaos, from which Gaia (Earth) and Uranus (Sky) arose. Their offspring, the Titans, eventually gave way to the Olympian gods who shaped the world as it is known.

Many indigenous cultures have their own creation stories, often involving spirit beings, animals, or natural forces playing a key role in shaping the land and its inhabitants.
