Jesus, weary from His journey, sat by the well of Samaria. A Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus asked her for a drink. She was surprised, as Jews and Samaritans did not associate. Jesus offered her "living water," which He explained was spiritual, eternal life. The woman, realizing He was a prophet, asked about worship. Jesus stated that true worship is in spirit and truth, not tied to a specific location. He then revealed He knew her past and that He was the Messiah. The woman, convinced, left her water pot and went to tell others in the town about Jesus. Many Samaritans believed in Him because of her testimony.
