ଗଛଲତା ନ ଥିଲେ ଆମର କ'ଣ ହେବ ?

No 1: ଗଛଲତା ନ ଥିଲେ ଆମର କ'ଣ ହେବ ? (What will happen to us if there are no plants?) ଯଦି ଗଛଲତା ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତେ, ତେବେ ଆମକୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଓ ଅମ୍ଳଜାନ ମିଳନ୍ତା ନାହିଁ । ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଜୀବନ ବଞ୍ଚିବା ଅସମ୍ଭବ ହୋଇଯାଆନ୍ତା । (If there were no plants, we would not get food and oxygen. Life on Earth would become impossible.) No 2: ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଗଛରୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ରୂପେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି । କାରଣ କ'ଣ ? (Animals also get help from plants as food. What is the reason?) ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ବା ପରୋକ୍ଷ ଭାବରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଗଛ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରନ୍ତି । ଗଛମାନେ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟାଲୋକ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ନିଜ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ନିଜେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରନ୍ତି, ଯାହାକୁ ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନେ ଖାଆନ୍ତି । (Animals depend on plants directly or indirectly for food. Plants prepare their own food using sunlight, which animals consume.) No 3: ଗଛରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜୀବନ ଅଛି ଆମେ କିପରି ଜାଣିବା ? (How do we know that plants also have life?) ଗଛମାନେ ବଢ଼ନ୍ତି, ପ୍ରଜନନ କରନ୍ତି, ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରନ୍ତି, ଏବଂ ପରିବେଶ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଦେଖାନ୍ତି । ଏହି ସବୁ ଗୁଣ ଜୀବନର ଲକ୍ଷଣ ଅଟେ । (Plants grow, reproduce, prepare food, and react to their environment. All these characteristics are signs of life.)
