What’s the difference between Homeostasis and Hemostasis ?

Homeostasis refers to the ability of a biological system, like the human body, to maintain a stable internal environment despite changes in external conditions. This involves regulating factors such as body temperature, blood pH, and glucose levels within a narrow, optimal range.

Hemostasis, on the other hand, is the process by which bleeding is stopped. It involves a complex series of events, including blood vessel constriction, platelet plug formation, and blood clot formation, to prevent excessive blood loss after an injury.
