What are the benefits of active product promotion, how did staff enhance customer experience, and what script can be used?

Okay, joycelynpepi, here are the answers to the remaining questions from the case study:

7. Scenario:
If John had simply handed the guests the menus without speaking, the couple might have ordered standard burgers. Active product promotion benefits the financial performance of the food and beverage department by increasing the average transaction value per customer. By suggesting higher-margin items like a specific wine pairing, the department generates more revenue and profit from each guest, rather than just selling basic menu items.

8. Scenario:
Maria's and John's promotions added significant value to the Kilas' anniversary celebration by enhancing their overall experience. Maria's upgrade to the Executive Suite and the spa package provided a more luxurious and pampering stay, while John's wine pairing elevated their dining experience, making it more special and memorable for their anniversary.

9. Scenario:
Here is a 2-sentence script a staff member could use:
"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Kila! To make your anniversary weekend even more special, we have a wonderful local cultural tour departing tomorrow morning that offers a unique glimpse into our heritage."
"It's a perfect way to create lasting memories, and we can arrange your booking right after breakfast if you're interested."

10. Scenario:
It is important for front-of-house staff to have excellent knowledge of the resort's operational hours and product prices when promoting services because it ensures accuracy and builds guest trust. Providing correct information prevents misunderstandings, allows guests to plan effectively, and enables staff to efficiently process bookings and payments, ultimately leading to higher customer satisfaction and successful sales.
