The light grew brighter as she approached the closet, and a soft humming filled the air. Taking a deep breath, Elara reached for the doorknob. It was cold, much colder than usual. She turned it slowly and pulled the door open. Instead of her usual clothes, she saw a swirling vortex of stars and nebulae. A gentle breeze, smelling of cinnamon and stardust, beckoned her forward. With a mix of fear and wonder, Elara stepped through the doorway, leaving her familiar bedroom behind for the unknown wonders of the cosmos.
