Describe two process of ice erosion on a glaciated highland

As the glacier moves, rocks and sediment embedded in its base and sides scrape against the underlying bedrock. This acts like sandpaper, grinding down the rock surface and polishing it. The embedded debris can range from fine sand to large boulders, causing significant wear.
