Types of torrisim

There are two main types of tourism:

1. Inbound tourism: This refers to the activities of visitors from overseas coming into a country to visit. For example, a tourist from France visiting Japan is an inbound tourist for Japan.

2. Outbound tourism: This refers to the activities of residents of a country traveling as tourists to another country. For example, a resident of Japan visiting France is an outbound tourist for Japan.

These two categories, when combined, make up international tourism. Domestic tourism refers to the activities of visitors who are residents of a country and travel only within that country.
