Write an essay (using an essay structure) on the Apartheid Law you have chosen and researched. Explain how it has affected the interviewee's choice of career or business according to your research findings.

Here's a breakdown of what you need to do:

1. Choose an Apartheid Law: Select a specific law (e.g., Group Areas Act, Bantu Education Act, Population Registration Act) that you have researched.
2. Research its Impact: Understand the implications of this law, particularly on people's lives and opportunities.
3. Interviewee's Perspective: Explain how this specific law influenced an individual's career or business decisions. This implies you need to have conducted or researched an interview/case study.
4. Essay Structure: Organize your essay with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
5. Research Findings: Support your arguments and explanations with evidence from your research.

The ESSAY RUBRIC provides the criteria for how your essay will be graded. To achieve an "Excellent 5" in each category:

• Relevance to topic: Ensure your essay directly addresses the chosen law and its impact on the interviewee's career.
• Research: Use information from multiple, credible sources.
• Content: Present your ideas in a logical order with smooth transitions.
• Format and structure: Clearly show an introduction, body, and conclusion.
• History writing and sentence structuring: Use appropriate historical vocabulary and varied sentence structures.
• Learner Insight and reflection: Demonstrate a deep understanding and clear evidence of how the law affected the interviewee's career choice.

Focus on meeting the "Excellent 5" criteria in each section of the rubric as you write your essay.
