Who were the first African farms

The earliest evidence of farming in Africa comes from the Nile Valley in Egypt, where agriculture began around 6000 BCE. Initially, crops like barley and emmer wheat were cultivated, alongside domesticated animals such as cattle and goats. Further south, in the Sahel region, evidence suggests independent development of farming around 5000 BCE, with crops like sorghum and millet being important.
