Identify the false statement regarding space and time from the given options.

The question asks to identify the FALSE statement.

Let's analyze each statement:

• "Space and time are the only fundamental concepts in our very own existence." This statement is FALSE. While space and time are fundamental to physics and our understanding of the universe, they are not the only fundamental concepts. Other concepts like matter, energy, causality, and consciousness are also considered fundamental in various philosophical and scientific contexts. The word "only" makes this statement too restrictive and therefore false.

• "Everyone has his/her own unique interpretation of space and time." This statement is generally considered TRUE. In physics, particularly special relativity, observers in different reference frames measure different time intervals (time dilation) and spatial lengths (length contraction). This means their experience and measurement of space and time are unique to their frame of reference. Philosophically, individual subjective experiences and perceptions of time also vary.

• "The abstraction of concepts of space and time does not make the two concepts irrelevant to human existence." This statement is TRUE. Abstract concepts in science, including space and time, are crucial for understanding the universe and have profound relevance to human existence, even if they are not tangible objects.

• "Physics as a subject is meaningless without the concepts of space and time." This statement is TRUE. Physics is fundamentally the study of matter and energy and their interactions within the framework of space and time. Without these concepts, the very foundation for describing motion, events, and physical phenomena would be absent.

Therefore, the only false statement is the first one.

The correct option is Space and time are the only fundamental concepts in our very own existence.
