Instead of regret, we should view their actions as contributing to a broader historical narrative. Their experiences and the injustices they faced fueled the rise of nationalism and the eventual struggle for independence across Africa.

Their unrewarded efforts laid a crucial foundation for future generations to demand self-determination and build their own nations. We honor their legacy by understanding this history and working towards a future where such sacrifices are not in vain, but contribute to genuine African progress and sovereignty.
