How do we see 👁️ number for discrete and continuous

Discrete numbers are values that can only take on a finite number of values or a countably infinite number of values. They are often whole numbers and cannot be broken down into smaller, fractional parts. Think of them as distinct, separate points.

• Example: The number of students in a classroom, the number of cars in a parking lot, or the number of heads when flipping a coin multiple times. You can't have 2.5 students.

Continuous numbers are values that can take on any value within a given range. They can be infinitely divided into smaller parts. Think of them as points on a line.

• Example: Height, weight, temperature, or time. A person's height could be 1.75 meters, or 1.753 meters, or 1.7532 meters, and so on, theoretically to infinite precision.
