Mobile communication allows citizens to report incidents quickly and enables security agencies to coordinate responses more efficiently. Data analytics can also be employed to identify crime patterns and predict potential threats, leading to more proactive security measures.

However, technology is also exploited by criminal elements, worsening insecurity. The rapid spread of misinformation and disinformation through social media platforms can incite violence, create panic, and undermine public trust in security institutions.
