The Pune Outer Ring Road is a project spanning approximately 170+ km, designed to enhance traffic connectivity for Pune city and stimulate rapid development in the surrounding villages.

The route is divided into four phases:

• Phase 1 (Eastern Part): Connects Theur Phata to Chimbli, passing through Kesnand, Wagholi, Charholi, Tulapur, and Alandi.
• Phase 2 (North & West Part): Extends from Chimbli to Pirangut, covering Nigoje, Shelarwadi, Chandkhed, Pachane, and Rihe.
• Phase 3 (West & South Part): Runs from Pirangut to Katraj, including Bhugaon, Chandani Chowk, and Ambegaon.
• Phase 4 (South & South-East Part): Completes the loop from Katraj back to Theur Phata, via Mangdewadi, Wadachiwadi, Holkarwadi, and Ramdara.
