Describe the steps to connect a circuit with a power supply, switch, milliammeter, and resistor as shown in Figure 1.

Connect the positive terminal of the variable power supply ($V_s$) to one terminal of the switch (S).

Connect the other terminal of the switch (S) to the positive terminal of the milliammeter (mA).

Connect the negative terminal of the milliammeter (mA) to one terminal of the unknown resistor (R).

Connect the other terminal of the unknown resistor (R) back to the negative terminal of the variable power supply ($V_s$).
